Peer Review Process

The International Journal  of Islamic Education, Research and Multicultural conducted a peer review with the concept of double blind. Any articles submitted herein are subject to peer review.   Peer review is one of  the  patterns to improve the  quality of  writing by sending manuscripts to several reviewers who are equally competent. It aims to maintain the quality and quantity standards of credibility of  journal articles.   Peer review in the International Journal of Islamic Education, research and multicultural takes place in 7 steps with the following description.

1. Paper Submission

Authors who submit articles to the  International Journal of Islamic Education, Research and Multicultural through the open journal system (OJS). However, to make it easier for authors, the Journal of  the International Journal of  Islamic Education, Research and Multiculturalism temporarily also accepts submissions of papers via email.

2. Assessment of Incoming Manuscripts

Articles entering into the system will be assessed by  the  International Journal of Islamic Education, Research and Multiculturalism.   One of the editor's duties is to check the incoming manuscript  whether  it matches  the focus and scope of the Journal. The composition and writing of the article is checked and tortured with the standards of the Author's Guidelines  of the  International Journal of  Islamic, Research and Multicultural Education  to ensure it covers the parts and styles  of the affairs used.   after the  article passes then the next follow-up is checked by Turnitin before being sent to the reviewer.

3. Article Review Conducted

At this point the  article that goes to the OJS International Journal of Islamic Education, Research and Multiculturalism will be reviewed by the board of editors, the reviewer  takes time to read  the incoming article.   The incoming article will be read skimming to get what is unique about the scientific work.   Then, if you have not yet got what is the uniqueness and difference of the article, the reader may feel comfortable to reject the article and not continue reading again.   However, if the reader has free time will read  the article a few more times, in order to make notes to build a detailed point-by-point review that should be improved.   Further notes are submitted to the journal, with recommendations to accept, or reject them, or with revision requests (usually marked as major or minor) before reconsideration.

4. Article Assessment by editor-in-chief

Editors in chief by the International Journal of Islamic Education, Research and Multiculturalism evaluate whether the article is appropriate to the journal, original enough,  the findings of the article are interesting, and significant for publication. Otherwise, the paper may be rejected without further review.

5. Journal Evaluating Reviews

The Editor-in-Chief and editor of the  International Journal of Islamic Education, Research and Multiculturalism considers all reviews returned by readers of the article before making an overall decision.   Then when the reader or reviewer gives a different note, the editor in chief can invite additional reviewers to get additional opinions before making a decision to continue or reject the manuscript.

6. Decision Communicated

Editors of the International Journal of  Islamic Education, Research and Multiculturalism send emails or respond in the OJS system to provide information related to  articles that have been read and reviewed by reviewers who relevant.   Notes from reviewers are sent anonymously to the author in relation to  how the next necessary actions and responses.

7. Final Steps

If accepted in the International Islamic  Education, Research and Multicultural institution,  the article is sent to copy-editing, if it is rejected the article  will be sent back to the author for revision.   Then the editor will include constructive comments from readers and reviewers to help the author make his article quality. The author must make corrections and revise the article according to the comments and instructions of the reviewer.  Once the revision has been made, the author must resubmit the revised paper to the editor via the OJS system or email.   If  the article is resubmitted with a note on the revision, the editor reviews it to accept the revised version an. If the author does not submit his article then it  is considered not to have participated further.   If the editor is happy with  your revised article, it is considered acceptable. Accepted manuscripts will be published online in the International Journal of Islamic Education, Research and Multiculturalism and all are available open to access and can be downloaded.
